Ingredients
- 3 fresh, hot peppers
- 12 washed, cored large green tomatoes
- 12 red, cored apples
- 2 peeled onions
- 2 cups cider vinegar
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon mustard seed
Directions
Remove seeds and white membrane from peppersand grind peppers, tomatoes, apples and onions (course blade).
Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Put into sterilized jars and seal.
Makes 5 pints.
